Fulfillment Services, Outsource Order Fulfillment, Ecommerce Fulfillment
There’s much more to order fulfillment than sticking items in a box, adding a shipping label, and putting it on a delivery truck. But you already know that, right?
What you may not know is that the IFS team has years of experience in every facet of order fulfillment. Many of our team members have been with us since the company was launched in 1998. So when you outsource order fulfillment to IFS, you know you’re partnering with people who not only know what they’re doing, they know how to do it right.
Our work begins the second your customer places an order.
Whether orders come through your online store or by phone into our high-touch call center, every customer order is routed directly to the warehouse where they are processed promptly. Full-time, highly trained customer service staffers are available to answer your customers’ questions, take orders by phone and process orders. Your Account Manager oversees day-to-day activities and is the primary contact for you and your customers. In the warehouse and distribution center, products are pulled, packed and shipped by our detail-focused fulfillment teams. Kitting and assembly happens here, too. And all along the way, quality control checks ensure accuracy.
Once an order for your product has been placed and shipped, it is important for you and your customers to be able to track the order until it is delivered to its destination, no matter whether it is shipping by FedEx, UPS or USPS.
Our warehouse management system includes a web-based order tracking portal that provides you with full access to all product inventory and shipment information – either on-demand or on a pre-determined schedule – in the format that best meets your reporting needs. This allows you to maintain adequate product inventory levels at all times; keep track of product lot numbers and expiration dates in case of a recall; and monitor product returns, and lost or damaged items.
In addition to an email shipment confirmation, your customers also have the ability to track their order status within a short time of the shipment of your products, so they will know when to expect delivery.
But it doesn’t end when the package is delivered.
To help ensure that you don’t run out of product, you will have full access to your inventory on a real-time basis so you’ll know when you reach your minimum replenishment threshold. Our operational processes also provide data on sales, deliveries and more. Product returns are processed as needed.
